Ms. Ruiz is an associate of the firm since 2007 and concentrates her practice in the areas of Construction Litigation, Condominium Law and Community Association Law. She received both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, magna cum laude, and her Master of Science in Communication, Advertising and Public Relations from Florida International University . She received her Juris Doctor from the University of Miami .

While in law school, Ms. Ruiz was selected to the Order of Barristers in recognition of her oral advocacy, brief writing, and leadership skills. She was awarded the Marco Vazquez Scholarship for her achievements in the Litigation Skills Program. She was also a member of the Mock Trial Competition Team.

Ms. Ruiz is admitted to the Florida Bar. She is a member of the Cuban American Bar Association.
