Ms. Cohen has been an associate of the firm since 2005. Her areas of practice include Construction and Commercial Litigation as well as Civil Mediation Services. Ms. Cohen received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Maryland in 1983 and her Juris Doctor from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center in 1995.

In law school she received the Book Award for legal research and writing and served as Articles Editor for the Nova Law Review. Ms. Cohen is admitted to practice before all Florida Courts, the United States District Court for the Southern and Middle District of Florida, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. In addition to her litigation and mediation experience, she has extensive business and governmental experience.

Before attending law school, Ms. Cohen held management positions with Chrysler Corporation, Manufacturers Hanover and Chase Automotive Finance. Active in her community, Ms. Cohen formerly served as Councilwoman for the Village of Wellington, Florida.
