Upcoming Seminars
Board Member Certification Seminar
The state of Florida now requires that condominium board members become certified by attending an approved course or submitting written certification information to the association secretary. One of the best ways for board members to become certified is by attending our complimentary board member certification seminars, which have been approved by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation to qualify for board member certification. This interactive course details the basic concepts of condominium operations, including an overview of the budget and reserve process, membership and board meetings, election procedures, vendor bids and contract negotiations, alternative dispute resolutions, and a highlight of the most recent changes in Florida condominium laws. Attendees will receive an official certificate of completion from our firm, and the seminars also qualify for 2 hours of continuing education CAM credits for property managers.
Roberto Blanch and Laura Manning-Hudson will conduct the board member certification course from 9 - 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at the South Florida Condo & HOA Expo taking place at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Click here for more information and to register for the event, which is complimentary for association members and directors as well as industry professionals.
