Ms. Montz is a shareholder in the Firm and practices in the areas of Condominium Law and Construction Law, including representation related to public-private projects, residential and mixed-use projects, commercial projects and condominiums. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Yale University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law.

She has spoken at several Lorman Education Services Seminars on issues involving construction contracts, including "Essential Contract Terms: Avoiding Future Problems by Addressing Key Issues" and "Selected Contract Provisions in AIA Documents." Her published written work includes topics such as "Personal Liability for a Condo Board Member's Conduct of Association Business", "Emerging Issues in Environmental Risks and Liabilities", "Shifting Parameters: An Examination of Recent Changes is the Baseline of Actionable Conduct for Hostile Working Environment Sexual Harassment", "Recent Incitement Claims Against Publishers and Filmmakers" and "The Peremptory Challenge." Ms. Montz is a member of the American Bar Association Forum on the Construction Industry. She has also been a Visiting Assistant Professor and Lecturer at the University of Miami School of Law.

Active in her community Ms. Montz is a member of the American Bar Association, the Cuban American Bar Association, the Brazilian American Bar Association, the Latin Builder's Association and the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce. Ms. Montz is admitted to the Florida Bar and the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals
