Leonard W. Klingen received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the Shepard Broad Law Center at Nova Southeastern University where he was a Jessup Scholarship student, in May of 2003. He is also a Certified Management Accountant and earned an M.B.A. from the University of South Florida. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of Florida, where he received a Bachelor of Design in Architecture. Prior to coming on board with Siegfried Rivera Lerner DeLaTorre and Sobel P.A., he was a shareholder with Valdini & Palmer, P.A. in Fort Lauderdale.
Mr. Klingen has extensive managerial experience in commercial and industrial construction, and has worked in France, Belgium, the Middle East, as well as Florida and the Mid-Atlantic states. He holds several general and specialty contractor certifications, including general contractor, master plumber and electrician, HVAC and mechanical licenses. His article, The Mentally Ill Attorney, a review of the problems and risks facing members of the Bar, was published by Nova Law Review in 2003.
Mr. Klingen was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2003, and is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida and the United States District Court, Southern and Middle Districts of Florida.
